My Job is Better Than Your's

Since January, when they were introduced I have been eyeing "Tactical Yoga pants" What are they you say? A gift sent from heaven. They are a really thick yoga pant with belt loops, so you can slip your gun belt through and strap on your gun. I HATE wearing jeans, but you all know that. Legally, in the matches I compete in your belt has to be through (I think) three belt loops. When these pants came out I HAD to get them, I didn't have to wear jeans and I could still shoot in them? SOLD! They are close to $90 and it has been really hard to justify buying yoga pants for that much. They went on sale and I had to get them, they were at a reasonable price that I could not pass up. I got them in the mail this week and slipped them over my butt and I fell in love you guys! They are so super comfy, and it feels like it will hold my belt and gun up pretty well. I can't wait to try them out in action on the range. We are going to Twin Falls to shoot in a match this Saturday and I'll be able to wear them in action. They would look a lot better on me if my butt was bigger and could fill them out more, ugh, the struggle.

I was approached by a cute gal on Instagram that makes bullet jewelry. Her pieces are so fun and cute. She messaged me and wanted to send me a free piece. I picked out these fun tassel earrings, and I got them in the mail this week. I really do love them, they are totally my style! Go check her stuff out at www.bearandherhoney.com/

We started this fun new (annoying) thing at the office. If you leave your phone out, and someone happens to walk by, you take a selfie! Well, we were all attacked this week and it was pretty hilarious. I love my job and my coworkers, we are so fun. Now that its October, we have the Halloween decorations out, and why wouldn't you have eye balls at an eye doctor for your Halloween decor? Well, there's these two eye balls that are just too hard to pass up, I mean, look at them! Ginger and I took some silly pictures on Amy's phone with them...oops!

On my day off I stopped in to cuddle my nephews for a minuet because they obviously missed their Aunty Lyssa

Royan loves his baby brother!

One night we took Chris' cousin to the pumpkin match and painted pumpkins. The best part about this pumpkin patch was the kitties! There was a bed full of sweet little sleeping kittens. I could have just stayed there all night petting the kittens. Tristan likes the Vikings so he painted a Vikings pumpkin and I painted myself a Red Sox Pumpkin in memory of my Grandpa! When I went to Rhode Island this spring, he would be laying in his hospital bed watching the Sox play almost every night. It was special to catch some moments with him and sit and watch baseball with him. I will keep those memories in my heart forever.

Friday night we had a work party at a fancy restaurant here in town. If you know me, and know me well, you know I am not a classy lady. I ordered a burger and fries, that were not even on the menu, while everyone ordered fancy steaks and sea food. I deserve employee of the year for saving my boss $20. Like usual it was a party with Amy, Ginger and I, our poor men had to witness how we really act when we are with each other! Overall, it was a fun night out of the office eating on the bosses dime.

You don't hold hands with your friends?

This week was fairly easy for homework so I sat on the couch and was being judge my Netflix. YES Netflix! I am still watching! Don't judge me!

Sunday after church we went on a fun small hike in Kelly Canyon. The fall colors are just gorgeous right now, and the weather was perfect. I had fun strolling in the woods with my man.

And here are my misc. pictures for the week! Happy Monday my friends!
my concealed carry outfit for the week. I am so glad it is sweater and boot weather! It also makes concealed carrying easier!

Easter and Not Having Friends at Church

I had the privilege of teaching the Easter lesson this Sunday. I taught on the Savoir's last week on earth. I hid Easter eggs all over the room with scpritures on Christ inside them. The girls loved the Easter egg hunt because their parents say they are too old for egg hunts.  Sunday's are hard sometimes. I caught my self crying during sacrament today. well, because I have no friends. About a year ago our Ward was dissolved. I had a lot of friends at church, some who have become my best friends. My good friend Jenni who lives a block away and was really my only friend in the ward, moved across town yesterday. Another family I am friends with is moving as well. Church is the hardest place to make friends. I feel like because I don't have kids, and I'm not a newly wed, I don't fit in with any of the groups. The people my age have a million kids, and the couples without kids are kids themselves and just got married like last week, and no one has really wanted to be my

2016

I have sat and thought a lot about what I am going to say in this post. So much has happened this year, its been rough but it also has been a blessing. What doesn't kill us makes us stronger, right? I learned a lot this year. First of all the biggest thing I learned that I definitely paid for was listening to bad feelings. I learned what true friendship was, and saw the ones who cared and saw the ones who didn't. I learned about priorities and what really is important in life. I learned of death and that death is not the end. I learned patience. Maybe I didn't learn patience but I tolerated patience. I learned and always knew that no matter what happens in life that you and your spouse are all that matters. Lets start off with January. Chris was working at the juvenile detention center 45 minuets away from our house. This was a wonderful job opportunity that we both felt so good about. It started to become rough. He was gone all the time and we never saw each other. He

Treat Yo Self!

I love to pamper myself, on a budget of course. But what girl doesn't? I promise I am in no way high maintenance, hence the fact all my clothes come from Wal Mart, I'm obsessed with guns and I love the outdoors. But there is a side of me who loooooves to get her nails did and spend too much money on all the pretty makeup. My friends own a beauty school here in my town and I get all my beauty services done there, 1, its a really good price and 2, the students need to learn and I am not picky! Plus some of my friends work there and its fun to see them! I also think it might be a problem when the receptionist knows its you on the phone... Since school is destroying my life I haven't been to the salon in forever!! Also, my bestie JP moved away and we would go get our nails done every two weeks. Last week I decided I NEEDED a microderm. Basically, a microderm is someone with a sandpaper machine going over your face with it to get rid of dead skin cells which can result in glowin
