Jackpot!

Since it is Tuesday, and I usually blog on Sunday's I really have no idea what happened last week. We also got new phones and I lost all of my pictures so I can't look back and see what I did. So lets start with Thursday! JP (Jenni) moved to Boise recently. Her, Lisa and I were a tight group. We mostly liked to gamble and get our nails did. Lisa and I were very sad when JP moved away. We thought it would be fun to meet each other half way in Twin Falls for lunch. Then, someone mentioned  Jackpot, NV only being 45 minuets away from Twin, and we were sold! At our local casino here, they send you birthday bucks, it being mine and Lisa's birthday month, we stopped at Fort Hall at 8:30 in the morning to spend our free cash. Let me tell you, the casino is dead on a Thursday at 8;30 in the morning. We got back on the road and 2 hours later met Jenni at a gestation in Twin. She hopped in the car and we made our way south to Jackpot, NV! Have you ever been to Jackpot? It is literall

Work, Workout, Party, Shoot

The week started like this: Hey, its protein, right? Before my workout the Bishop stopped by the house as I was on my way out the door and I was embarrassed because I was in my workout clothes and my boobs were hanging out... He came to give me a new calling, I am now a relief society teacher! I subbed one time, talked about my drugs and drinking, cried the whole time, and they decided they wanted me permanently...Well, I hope I don't offend too many people. Better learn to stop swearing.  Work was a delight like usual. Amy went home to Virginia last month and sent Ginger and I some pretty classic pictures of herself from her childhood. Working at an eye doctor, we have a box of old glasses. We came across a pair of old glasses that I thought looked exactly like the ones Amy had on in one of her childhood pictures. We decided to recreate the picture. Exhibit A: Look at it! Isn't that amazing! we all had a kick out of it. Thank you childhood Amy for being our ente

My Job is Better Than Your's

Since January, when they were introduced I have been eyeing "Tactical Yoga pants" What are they you say? A gift sent from heaven. They are a really thick yoga pant with belt loops, so you can slip your gun belt through and strap on your gun. I HATE wearing jeans, but you all know that. Legally, in the matches I compete in your belt has to be through (I think) three belt loops. When these pants came out I HAD to get them, I didn't have to wear jeans and I could still shoot in them? SOLD! They are close to $90 and it has been really hard to justify buying yoga pants for that much. They went on sale and I had to get them, they were at a reasonable price that I could not pass up. I got them in the mail this week and slipped them over my butt and I fell in love you guys! They are so super comfy, and it feels like it will hold my belt and gun up pretty well. I can't wait to try them out in action on the range. We are going to Twin Falls to shoot in a match this Saturday
