Friends

I want to address the topic of friends. We all have friends that are in our lives temporarily, some who really weren't your friends, friends who are your best friends and keep in contact with frequently and friends who are your soul mate friends where you can go forever without talking to each other but are still your best friends and will always be.  I take friendship seriously. I think I am so self conscious about myself that when I have friends it excites me that someone may actually like me. Yes, I am a big weirdo and its great when I can find my weirdo counterpart. Now, I recently left Women of Caliber. I loved it and I thought it was where I belonged and that the ladies were like my best friends. None of my friends shoot or are into guns so this was my home. There is actually a lot more to the story as to why I left and I have tried being respectful but it is hard when your feelings are deeply hurt. Especially when your feelings are hurt over and over and over again. It was

Happy Trump Day

This week was fantastic! Mostly because I didn't have to wear pants. First off, the main Doctor at my office was out of town for the week. The other Doctor is in only 2 days and does not see a lot of patients, so we all took turns working. I only had to work on Monday. It was a quiet day and I had some super cute visitors: Can't make everyone happy, can you? The rest of the week was a blur because I pretty much stayed at home in my jammies all day and did homework. I only left the house to go to the gym 5 times this week. I don't even know what happened in between. This is what my life has come to: Gym, Work, Homework. Will it ever end? I have a pretty heavy work load this semester and its killing me. One more year, I can do it! I actually only have 7 classes left, and I am trying to figure out how I can fit that all in 3 semesters. Wish me luck.  This is pretty much what I looked like all week: I did eventually have to leave the house Thursday for an app

We Ain't Broke No Mo'

I am going to start this post off by saying, CHRIS GOT A JOB!!!! Chris is now the Assistant Program Manager at the juvenile detention center. Chris got the call on Tuesday afternoon officially giving him the job, and he would start on Friday. This job has been in the works for months and we have waited so long. Chris has been working at the detention center for about 7 years now, just doing a couple hours a week of counseling. They approached Chris about starting a new program at their facility. So for the last few months Chris has been working hard putting together the program for them. They first had to get enough kids to run the program for Chris to have a job, then we had to wait for the county commissioner to approve the job, then we had to wait for the detention center's board to approve it, it was a long wait but we are so happy! I can't believe it has been 7 months that he has been laid off. Man, that was a long 7 months. We have always been good with our money, and we
