Exciting Friday

During the week at work I have to wear scrubs. On Fridays, the clinic is closed so I go in for a few hours in the afternoon to do some filing, paper work etc.. and I get to wear real clothes! That never happens, I either wear scrubs or sweatpants on my days off. Who has time to get dressed? Not me. My gun club was starting to post pictures of our selves concealed carrying, showing women that you can wear almost anything and carry a gun, I usually leave my gun in my purse, but Fridays I get to wear my holster. I think it is fun  to post pictures concealed carrying in different outfits, on days I actually get dressed (which is never.) Here was Friday's outfit I am carrying my Glock 42 a .380 caliber, its a cute tiny gun and I love it. The Glock 42 fits my tiny little hands and is easy to conceal. Welcome to the life of Alys

I'm starting into the blogging world again. I am a family history major at BYU-I and we have recently discussed journaling. I do keep a personal written journal for my all my spiritual, personal things but I wanted to start a blog for my day to day activities. sometimes I lead an exciting life. Journaling is important. Wouldn't you just love to find an our journal of a long ago ancestor? To read about their life, their trials and hardships. I would love to get my hands on something like that. I keep a journal for my future posterity. I want their family history research to be easy, unlike mine is. I do not want them to wonder who I am and what I did in my  life. My sweet husband Christopher calls me Alys (pronounced Alice) I am not sure how that nick name came across but that is who I am. I have friends who call me Alys and some people call me Alys and have no idea my name is actually Alyssa. Chris never calls me Alyssa, and when he does, that means I painted something I shou
