At work, I have the fun job of getting people's birthday treats. When it is someone's birthday I ask them in advanced what they want, I get it ordered and I get to leave the office with my boss's credit card, all while still on the clock. I love it! We had a birthday this week at he office and I got to take part in this super delicious pie. It was heavenly! Also at the office I have made it my duty to see if anyone needs any afternoon caffeine and leave my receptionist post and go get our afternoon pick me up. I take my job seriously, caffeine is an important matter. I really have a tough job.
For dinner that evening I was feeling super healthy since I had a pie for lunch. So I made some grilled chicken and strawberry spinach pie. I ended the night with some gym time with Jenni. My arm muscles are growing, cant't you tell? I love to flex and watch my muscles, I am kinda obsessed. Now, if only I could gain some muscle in my butt and less fat in my gut, I'd be satisfied.
Tuesday some girls and I took a Women of Caliber field trip to some local gun shops to keep spreading the word about WOC. We talked to some great guys and made new friends and did some great networking. Our business trip ended in some clothes shopping.
We didn't quite understand their eye chart?
Wednesday was my wonderful mother in law's birthday. Chris and I took her our for a nice dinner at Texas Road house, and like usual I ate way too much and hated my self for a few hours.
The semester has started again and I am already over it. It's hard being a 27 year old sophomore. I am 27, I have lived a long enough life and deserve to watch Netflix marathon's instead of doing homework. I solved that problem this week. I have been pretty busy, and all I really want to do is sit on the couch and watch TV. I had to watch a 1 hour seminar this week so I had the brilliant idea to hook my laptop to the TV and cuddle on the couch while watching my class. Problem solved. Maybe being a 27 year old sophomore isn't too bad.
My homework has already got me drinking
Thursday I had a competition training. It was probably one of the most beneficial training's I have had, We worked on speed and it was so much fun! We were going pretty fast and I was loving it. At the end the trainer wanted to have a friendly competition with me to see who could go faster. Now, this guy is good and he really intimidates me, but I also got pretty competitive and felt like I HAD to beat him. Guess what? I beat him! I finished first and it was pretty awesome. He said he wanted to do that so I could gain more confidence because he intimidates me because he is a good shooter. Well, now I beat him!
I did some work at the election office this week to get ready for the Idaho Primary, when I was done with work I came out to this :
Friday I got a message from a reporter wanting to film an interview with me on my infertility journey! Wow, I was so amazed that she asked me to do it, I was scared to death and so nervous. She came to my house, and it was very low-key and very comfortable. I cried a little bit but I also showed some bravery. It is a hard subject to talk about, but people need to know about infertility and why it sucks so bad. I a very honored that I was able to do it and I am so excited for the segment to come out. I can't wait to let other people know about the pain I go through, and to let others know out there who are going through this, that there is hope!
Your weekly Puppy Corner:
I went out this week and didn't bring my purse. I left it on the table thinking it would be safe. I came home and these daemons took my purse down, dumped it out, ate everything and then peed on it! Have you ever looked up "Dog Shaming"? you should. Its hilarious. This is Jasper and Roxy's contribution to Dog Shaming.
You're only 27?! Man you baby. Why do I even like you?! It's practically like hanging out with my gross teens...
