My Calm Boring Week

This week was MUCH better than the week before! It was full of working out, attempting to eat healthy, work, homework and guns. Typical week. Since my recent weight gain I have been TRYING to eat healthy, but its so hard when there is a candy drawer at work I can't keep my paws out of. I'll eat a salad for lunch, then eat 10 lbs of candy afterwards. The struggle is real folks.I went to a group power class with Jenni on Monday evening, and woke up the next morning and did my usual circuit training class.

Tuesday homework happened and Chris and I also went to the range and went shooting. He bought himself a new AR-15, so we had to test it out.

This next section I am going to call adventures at work. My job as  trophy receptionist is serious business. I get to file, and pick up sodas for everyone. Sometimes I HATE filing, especially when I get busy and it stacks up. My dear sweet co-workers were kind and sweet enough to file in their spare time, are they not the best co-workers ever? I sure am blessed, it was a beautiful sight to sit and watch. Yes, I sat and watched instead of helping. Friday the office is usually closed but I still get to go in and do some office work. This Friday we decided to have a clinic day. It was an intense Friday! Im used to peaceful quite Fridays, but this particular day it was like everyone's eyes in Southern Idaho  decided to fall out. That's when a caffeine intervention happened. I also got to work on Friday and my dearest sweetest Amy changed my desktop picture from a picture of my cute puppies to an extremely fat cat. I love it so much I just may keep it there until my boss tells me to change it. My boss also must have felt bad for making everyone work on Friday, so he bought us lunch at Jimmy John's. Remember when I talked about the Tamale Lady last week? Well that sneaky little woman came back this week! It's like she knows me and that I have a weak spot for tamale's and can't say no. I need to figure out how to start avoiding her.

here is my concealed carry outfit for the week since I been slacking. That day I also went and got my nails done with Lisa and Jenni. The weather was so nice that day that I spent some time in the backyard with the dogs and just laid in the sunshine.

Easter and Not Having Friends at Church

I had the privilege of teaching the Easter lesson this Sunday. I taught on the Savoir's last week on earth. I hid Easter eggs all over the room with scpritures on Christ inside them. The girls loved the Easter egg hunt because their parents say they are too old for egg hunts.  Sunday's are hard sometimes. I caught my self crying during sacrament today. well, because I have no friends. About a year ago our Ward was dissolved. I had a lot of friends at church, some who have become my best friends. My good friend Jenni who lives a block away and was really my only friend in the ward, moved across town yesterday. Another family I am friends with is moving as well. Church is the hardest place to make friends. I feel like because I don't have kids, and I'm not a newly wed, I don't fit in with any of the groups. The people my age have a million kids, and the couples without kids are kids themselves and just got married like last week, and no one has really wanted to be my ...

Valentines Day

Valentines day is a very special day for us. Nine years ago we went on our first date. Nine years ago I was doing some not so good things with my life. I drank a lot, did drugs, and smoked cigarettes. Not the ideal thing for a Mormon girl to be doing. I did not have much support and just hung out with people who did the same things as me. I knew I wanted to changed and be better but I didn't know how. I prayed one night the Lord would send me someone who would help me with my drinking and smoking because I couldn't do it alone. One day in January I went to church,  at the singles ward, pretty hung over from the night before. But hey, at least I was at church! I remember seeing this boy from a distance and something struck me. You know love at first sight? Thats kind of what happened, except it wasn't exactly love; there was just something about him that I needed in my life. He saw me sitting alone in Sunday school and he asked to sit next to me. I looked around the empty...

Christmas

My friends think they know me or something.... Amy made a shirt that says "Trophy Receptionist" in GOLD, and Ginger gave me socks that said " You're Not The Boss of Me" It's like they think I act like a princess, but I don't ;). I was pretty excited for my socks and shirt My lady lumps make it hard to read my shirt!  Since it was the week before Christmas we really didn't have a lot of patients. Amy and I made one of our famous music videos, I am going to try to post it right here but don't know if it will work.  I went to Sam's Club with my sister one day and hung out with my super cute nephews. I want to squeeze and kiss them all the time! They are the most kissable boys ever! Well, So is Chris! The little one is just chillin like a gangsta.  With my Christmas bonus I bought myself an Alex and Ani bracelet. These are super popular in Rhode Island and they have a store in Salt Lake City too. They were start...
