Exciting Friday

During the week at work I have to wear scrubs. On Fridays, the clinic is closed so I go in for a few hours in the afternoon to do some filing, paper work etc.. and I get to wear real clothes! That never happens, I either wear scrubs or sweatpants on my days off. Who has time to get dressed? Not me. My gun club was starting to post pictures of our selves concealed carrying, showing women that you can wear almost anything and carry a gun, I usually leave my gun in my purse, but Fridays I get to wear my holster. I think it is fun  to post pictures concealed carrying in different outfits, on days I actually get dressed (which is never.) Here was Friday's outfit I am carrying my Glock 42 a .380 caliber, its a cute tiny gun and I love it. The Glock 42 fits my tiny little hands and is easy to conceal.


Chris has been working so much lately. I forgot I had a husband. This week, he has been on call and has recived phone calls in the middle of the night and in the mornings. We have had enough time to see eachother for a few minuets then go to bed. I have missed him so much! Friday night we actually got to spend time together! We got to sit down together and eat dinner. I made papusas and they were so tasty.Number one homemaker award.






 After dinner, we went grocery shopping, Isn't Chris so handsome?  That is our exciting night. Adult life, right?

Easter and Not Having Friends at Church

I had the privilege of teaching the Easter lesson this Sunday. I taught on the Savoir's last week on earth. I hid Easter eggs all over the room with scpritures on Christ inside them. The girls loved the Easter egg hunt because their parents say they are too old for egg hunts.  Sunday's are hard sometimes. I caught my self crying during sacrament today. well, because I have no friends. About a year ago our Ward was dissolved. I had a lot of friends at church, some who have become my best friends. My good friend Jenni who lives a block away and was really my only friend in the ward, moved across town yesterday. Another family I am friends with is moving as well. Church is the hardest place to make friends. I feel like because I don't have kids, and I'm not a newly wed, I don't fit in with any of the groups. Valentines Day

 Valentines day is a very special day for us. Nine years ago we went on our first date. Nine years ago I was doing some not so good things with my life. I drank a lot, did drugs, and smoked cigarettes. Not the ideal thing for a Mormon girl to be doing. I did not have much support and just hung out with people who did the same things as me. I knew I wanted to changed and be better but I didn't know how. I prayed one night the Lord would send me someone who would help me with my drinking and smoking because I couldn't do it alone. One day in January I went to church,  at the singles ward, pretty hung over from the night before. But hey, at least I was at church! I remember seeing this boy from a distance and something struck me. You know love at first sight? Thats kind of what happened, except it wasn't exactly love; there was just something about him that I needed in my life. He saw me sitting alone in Sunday school and he asked to sit next to me. Christmas

My friends think they know me or something.... Amy made a shirt that says "Trophy Receptionist" in GOLD, and Ginger gave me socks that said " You're Not The Boss of Me" It's like they think I act like a princess, but I don't ;). I was pretty excited for my socks and shirt My lady lumps make it hard to read my shirt!  Since it was the week before Christmas we really didn't have a lot of patients. Amy and I made one of our famous music videos, I am going to try to post it right here but don't know if it will work.  I went to Sam's Club with my sister one day and hung out with my super cute nephews.
